I was born and raised in Bartella, a small Christian town in northern Iraq. Growing up under economic sanctions, I learned the values of resourcefulness, creativity, and resilience—traits that continue to guide me in my professional and personal life.
At 18, I moved to the United States and pursued a degree in accounting at San Diego State University. After graduating, I gained valuable experience as a corporate accountant and later as a tax consultant at KPMG, working with top clients across various industries. Despite these achievements, I felt a calling to work more personally with individuals and small businesses, leading me to join Allied Tax.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, walking my poodle, and watching basketball with my son. These moments with my family and in nature help me stay balanced and energized.
At Allied Tax, I’m dedicated to building long-term relationships with my clients and continuing the legacy of treating everyone like family.
Katherine has been a dedicated member of the Allied Tax Advisors team for over 30 years. As an Enrolled Agent, she is committed to ensuring the success of our clients by providing expert guidance and personalized care. Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys walking and playing with her dog, Rosie. Her decades of experience and passion for helping others make her an invaluable part of our team
Angelica brings over a decade of diverse experience from the non-profit, philanthropic, and financial industries to her role at Allied Tax Advisors. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Angelica holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her happy place is being immersed in nature, traveling, exploring new places, and learning to garden and grow her own food.
Kobe is our beloved Chief Happiness Officer at Allied Tax Advisors. He’s a 3.5-year-old Standard Poodle who loves welcoming clients with a wagging tail and a friendly bark. When he’s not at the office spreading joy, Kobe enjoys fetching and playing on the beach. His warm presence brings smiles to everyone who walks through our doors, making sure both clients and team members feel right at home
